MARYWOOD ADOPTION PROGRAMS

Becoming a family through adoption is an exciting journey. Marywood is available to assist you throughout your journey.

We encourage you to attend an Adoption and Foster Care Informational Meeting for more information on the children who are waiting for parents, the process of adoption and ways in which you can build your family through adoption.

Marywood welcomes your questions, your concerns and
your comments. Our adoption program is nationally accredited and we have been serving birth and adoptive families for more than 80 years.

We believe that it is important that each family choose the agency that is right for them. Our purpose is to acquaint you with Marywood, help you understand the adoption process and support you throughout your adoption journey.

Adoption and Foster Care Information Meetings (AIM)

You are invited to attend one of our upcoming Adoption and Foster Care Informational Meetings as a way of learning more about Marywood, the children in our care and how you can become a foster or adoptive parent.

Our seminars are open to families who are just beginning the process or those who have already adopted. We encourage you to bring your questions and concerns, and meet other families who share your interest in foster care or adoption.

The discussion will include:

The process for becoming a foster or adoptive parent
The children who are available for adoption
Our International adoption program in partnership with Maine Adoption Program
What to look for in an agency
Our post placement services

It is our goal to provide you with information and answer your questions. The meetings are free of charge. Pre-registration is encouraged. Preliminary information forms will be available at the meeting or may be accessed through our website. We look forward to seeing you at our next Adoption and Foster Care Informational Meeting.
